Board game designers

All 15254 designers in the catalog. Open one to see the games they designed, ordered by BoardGameGeek rank.

A designer’s name tells you a lot before you open the box. Some build tight economic engines, others write cooperative stories, and many return to the same mechanics across a career, so liking one of their games is a good reason to try the next. This index lists every designer in the catalog with the number of games and expansions credited to them.

Open a designer to browse their games ordered by BoardGameGeek rank, compare player counts and playtime at a glance, and jump straight to a rules summary or the rules assistant where they are ready. Use the filter to find a name you half remember, or sort by number of games to see the most prolific designers first.
