Brain Fart is a board game released in 2018 for 3–99 players and ages 14 and up.
Brain Fart is a party game where you must name something from a category before the time ends. One player rolls 9 cubes which contain a total of 54 categories. After the roll the brain timer is pressed and it displays a letter. Players then take turns to name something starting with the displayed letter and then grab the appropriate category cube when they answer. Play ends when the brain "farts." If the brain farts during your turn the round ends and you must take a chip. Note: The timer is random between 30 and 45 seconds. Continue to play until the pile of chips is gone. Winner is player with least amount of chips.
Brain Fart supports 3–99 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The catalogue lists Brain Fart for ages 14 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Brain Fart belongs to these categories: Party Game. Categories describe the theme, setting and style of a game rather than its rules. Filter the catalogue by the same category to find similar games when you enjoyed Brain Fart and want something comparable for your next game night.
The catalogue lists Brain Fart as a base game. It can be played on its own with the components in the box and does not require any other title. Expansions, if any exist, add new content or rules on top of it and are listed separately in the catalogue with a link back to this base game.
