Call of Nature is a board game released in 2003 for 3–6 players and ages 8 and up. It was designed by のーべー and its main mechanics are Hand Management.
Moreru is a light-hearted, simple and fun card game that wagers on human dignity! On the way back home, your guts start to gurgle, and you need to use the toilet. But there is no toilet around! Can you make it home before you poop in your pants?? Who will be the first to lose control and lose their dignity? The goal of the game is not to be the first player to poop the pants at the point of no return before making it home. When it is your turn, you need to play a card from your hand. The card can be a number or function card. The total sum on the table is the number of cards played. When you play a card which exceeds the threshold, you poop your pants! —description from the publisher (translated)
Call of Nature supports 3–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The catalogue lists Call of Nature for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Call of Nature has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
