Drop Trivia is a board game released in 2024 for 2–99 players, 15–25 minutes per game, and ages 13 and up.
In the Drop Trivia party game, players have all the answers—they just need to drop them in order! This fast-action, electronic trivia game plays in as little as 15 minutes. Play head-to-head with 2 players or in teams. In each round, start by dropping a trivia card with 6 answers into the game tower. Then each side takes turns trying to guess the correct order of the answers to score points. For example, rank 6 debut albums from least to most recent. Players place their guesses by dropping pucks into the tower, and they earn points for answers in the right spots. For a game show-like experience, the tower guides players through the game with voice commands and sound effects. After 4 rounds, the team with the most points wins —description from the publisher
Drop Trivia supports 2–99 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Drop Trivia is 15–25 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Drop Trivia for ages 13 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Drop Trivia has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
