Panzer Grenadier: Indian Unity is an expansion for Cassino '44: Gateway to Rome released in 2010 for 2 players. It was designed by Michael Bennighof and its main mechanics are Hexagon Grid.
In September 1948, India invaded Hyderabad, the largest of the "princely states" and one of the few that had insisted on claiming independence after the withdrawal of the British from the subcontinent. Indian Unity includes ten scenarios presenting battles from that brief, one-sided war, using the Panzer Grenadier system. The module includes 165 counters. Some of the scenarios require boards and counters from Eastern Front, Road to Berlin, Cassino '44, Desert Rats and Elsenborn Ridge. Indian Unity is available as a print-and-play download or in a printed edition with laser-cut counters.
Panzer Grenadier: Indian Unity supports 2 players according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
Panzer Grenadier: Indian Unity belongs to these categories: Wargame, Print & Play, and Modern Warfare. Its main mechanics are Hexagon Grid. Categories describe the theme and setting of a game, while mechanics describe what players actually do on their turns. Each mechanic links to a catalogue hub with similar games, which helps when you want something comparable.
The credited designers of Panzer Grenadier: Indian Unity are: Michael Bennighof. These credits come from the published game data and name the people responsible for the game’s design, not its illustrators or publishers.
