Tailor Master is a board game released in 2024 for 2 players, 20–30 minutes per game, and ages 3 and up. It was designed by Splash Duang and its main mechanics are Speed Matching.
In the bustling studio of Tailor Master, creativity flourishes and dreams take shape. This captivating board game is an invitation to a world where aesthetic intertwines with the recognition of graphics, colors, and the charm of fashion. By deftly pairing 'Clothing Designs' with the intricate patterns on object cards, they tailor their way to victory. The starting player reveals an Object Card. Both players take the same Clothes Frame or Pants Frame based on the back sign of the Object Card. Each player find the matching pattern of the Object Card on their own Cloth. And ring the Tap Bell placed in the center of the table immediately after confirming that they have framed the right pattern. Then, both players check together if the pattern found by the player who rang the bell matches the Object Card. Whoever can match enough cards as quickly and accurately as possible will be the winner. Embedded in this aesthetics studio, the art of fashion comes to life.
Tailor Master supports 2 players according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
The listed playing time for Tailor Master is 20–30 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Tailor Master for ages 3 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Tailor Master has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
