Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition is a board game released in 1999 for 2–32 players, 30 minutes per game, and ages 6 and up. Its main mechanics are Roll / Spin and Move.
This is different than the previous Disney edition by Trivial Pursuit. This has only about 1,800 questions, half of which are for adults and half for kids (which in the past was known as "an All-Family Edition"). Unfortunately, this edition has only the original pies for the pieces, not the spiffy miniatures that have been in many newer Trivial Pursuit editions. Description on back of box: "Bring the magic of Disney into your home... Relive your favourite adventures as each picture card brings the memories flooding back. Then flip the card over and see if you can answer the question! With 1,800 questions split between adults and younger members of the family, everyone has an even chance of getting the answer right. Move around the board - landing on your favourite Disney character spaces - and view each card through the movie viewer. Get the answer right and you're well on the way to completing your collection of colourful wedges! Trivial Pursuit's Disney Edition. With that magic touch of pixie dust"
Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition supports 2–32 players according to the catalogue. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition is 30 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition for ages 6 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition has a complexity rating of 1.5 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
Trivial Pursuit: Disney – The Animated Picture Edition belongs to these categories: Children's Game, Movies / TV / Radio theme, and Party Game. Its main mechanics are Roll / Spin and Move.
