Your Best Life is a board game released in 2023 for 1–8 players, 45 minutes per game, and ages 10 and up. It was designed by Yaniv Kahana and its main mechanics are Paper-and-Pencil.
Will you go on vacation with each other or build the house of your dreams? Will you raise a big family, or do you prefer to party with friends every evening? Why not both?! Go ahead — try to have it all! Your Best Life is a flip-and-write life story game. Playing as couples or singles, players manage their happiness and joy as they experience various choices in their lives. Each turn, players choose cards with the actions that will build their character and family unit. Players mark their actions on their individual or family sheets in order to "live" the most successful life! Players can choose to invest in a myriad self-improvement options relating to education, creativity, business, friendship, nutrition, and even romance. Take vacations with family, friends, or on your own. Experience both the stress and joy children can bring — and even spend time with pets! Invite players to your important life events with customizable invitation cards. Balance health, knowledge, social skills, finances, time, and even a little bit of luck to come out on top. After ten rounds, all players score their character and family sheets, and whoever has the most life achievement points wins.
Your Best Life supports 1–8 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Your Best Life is 45 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Your Best Life for ages 10 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Your Best Life has a complexity rating of 2.4 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a medium-light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
