About the game
18Ruhr-Ext 02 is the second extension of 18Ruhr. The most important new elements are the new Stock Market board and the implementation of 20 black coal cubes and 19 red steel cubes. In addition, there are now 10 stock certificates of equity funds each, for a coalmine equity fund and a steel mill equity fund. There are also five new private certificates. The nature of 18Ruhr changed slightly, as the Railway Corporations may generate additional income by physically transporting coal and steel. The Montan companies play a passive role only and neither their charters nor their certificates are used for this extension. Note: This expansion was published in the TRAXX Mainline magazine 2025. It was available as an RTP version at SPIEL 2025. —description from the publisher 18Ruhr extension 02 needs components from the basegame 18Ruhr and some components from 18Ruhr extension 01.
