Ascension: Theme Pack – Rat Queen is an expansion for Ascension: Deckbuilding Game released in 2012 for 2–6 players and ages 13 and up. It was designed by Justin Gary.
Rat Queen adds a whole new dimension to monsters in Ascension! To set up, shuffle the Rat Queen cards into the center deck, then place the Giant Rats to the side. When the Rat Queen shows up in the center row, turn the other cards in the center row face down, shuffle them, then cover each of those cards with a Giant Rat. Players need to defeat these rats — or the Queen herself — before being able to get to the other cards. Ascension Theme Pack: Rat Queen comes with two copies of the Rat Queen and ten Giant Rats, enough for the rodent infestation to strike twice in a single game!
Ascension: Theme Pack – Rat Queen supports 2–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
