Banana Joe is a board game released in 2018 for 2–4 players, 20 minutes per game, and ages 4 and up. Its main mechanics are Dice Rolling.
The little monkey Banane Joe is taking a nap on its banana palm. Try to take away as much bananas as possible from him to win the game. In each round you roll the dice - to make the game more interesting, you may have to give another player one of your bananas without warning or you are allowed to take one banana from one of the others. But take care of Banana Joe! If you have taken too many bananas from his banana palm, he is going to jump into the air. Try to catch him to get additional bananas. —description from the publisher (translated)

The listed playing time for Banana Joe is 20 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Banana Joe for ages 4 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
