Die Welt: Singapur, wo liegt das nur? is a board game released in 2013 for 2–6 players, 45–60 minutes per game, and ages 10 and up. It was designed by Günter Burkhardt.
Die Welt: Singapur, wo liegt das nur? features gameplay similar to Deutschland: Finden Sie Minden, another Günter Burkhardt design, with players trying to locate places or landmarks on a map, but this time players will find the entire world lying before them. To set up, players lay out six game boards, each featuring one continent with no place names on it. On a turn, players are confronted with a location, such as Dubai, Jakarta or Miami, then they all try to guess where in the world that location is. They can play it safe and choose a large block of land – scoring only a few points in the process if correct – or they can go small and pinpoint the location more precisely on one of the game boards, scoring far more points if correct, but upping their chances of scoring nothing if they miss their mark. In the end, whoever scores the most points wins.
Die Welt: Singapur, wo liegt das nur? supports 2–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Die Welt: Singapur, wo liegt das nur? is 45–60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Die Welt: Singapur, wo liegt das nur? for ages 10 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone.
