Drinkopoly is a board game released in 2014 for 1–69 players and ages 18 and up. Its main mechanics are Track Movement, Dice Rolling, and Acting.
The world’s blurriest game Drinkopoly is a social and interactive board game designed to provide hours of fun, laughs and mischief at home, parties or outings. Don’t waste time thinking about party game ideas, just bring out the world’s most popular drinking game to break the ice and have an (un)forgettable experience with your friends. The board has 44 fields with various tasks requiring you to stop at bars, pubs and clubs, and take gulps of long or short drinks. There are additional fields with special tasks and activities, such as truth and dares, arm wrestling challenges, poem recitals, tongue twisters, pick-up lines or kissing contests. The winner is the one who traverses through the social challenges and reaches the end of the journey first. Drinkopoly has 50 special cards describing various tasks. When you pull a card, you have to complete the task or take a sip of a drink to advance further. Some of the tasks are funny, some are sexy and some are simply craaazy! You can be sure whichever card you pick, you will remember it (or not). —description from the publisher
Drinkopoly supports 1–69 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The catalogue lists Drinkopoly for ages 18 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Drinkopoly has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
Drinkopoly belongs to these categories: Party Game and Mature / Adult. Its main mechanics are Track Movement, Dice Rolling, and Acting. Categories describe the theme and setting of a game, while mechanics describe what players actually do on their turns. Each mechanic links to a catalogue hub with similar games, which helps when you want something comparable.
The catalogue lists Drinkopoly as a base game. It can be played on its own with the components in the box and does not require any other title. Expansions, if any exist, add new content or rules on top of it and are listed separately in the catalogue with a link back to this base game.
