About the game

Havannah is a connection game (Hex, Twixt, etc.) with several interesting twists. The board is a hexagonal grid shaped in the form of a hexagon--8 hexes per side. (Expert players prefer larger 10 per side boards.) Each player places a stone of his color on the board attempting to form one of three possible winning positions: - Fork: Continuously connect any 3 sides (note: the corners do NOT count as a side space. - Bridge: Continuously connect any 2 corners. - Ring: Form a continuous closed loop of pieces with at least one cell in the middle (the cell may be unoccupied or occupied by either player's piece).

Questions and answers

Havannah supports 2 players according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
