Hyperspace: Thoth is an expansion for Hyperspace released in 2024.
Each Hyperspace expansion civilization comes with a Homeworld tile, 4 unique Citizens, 2 Super Units, and 2 Super Techs. A death-obsessed species, the Thoth’s powerful psychic curses blight and hamper other players, and often lead to violence. Meanwhile they benefit from the glories of oblivion, firm in their knowledge of their complicated afterlife. The Sphinx super-ship is a light-sail, which elegantly swings through space at the minimum energy cost needed. It is built of so-called “resurrected matter”, a highenergy form of normal matter. As such it is indestructible by normal weapons, though the attached devices and sensors on the Sphinx’s outside surface can of course be burned off and need re-affixing.
Hyperspace: Thoth belongs to these categories: Expansion for Base-game. Categories describe the theme, setting and style of a game rather than its rules. Filter the catalogue by the same category to find similar games when you enjoyed Hyperspace: Thoth and want something comparable for your next game night.
The catalogue lists Hyperspace: Thoth as an expansion for Hyperspace. Expansions add new content, rules or scenarios to the base game and usually cannot be played on their own, so you need Hyperspace to use it. Check that your edition of Hyperspace is compatible, as some expansions were revised between editions.
