Oh My Socks! is a board game released in 2025 for 2–5 players, 15–20 minutes per game, and ages 6 and up. It was designed by Antoine Bauza and Théo Rivière and its main mechanics are Set Collection.
Socks come in twos, but somehow one always goes missing in the washing machine. Collect the best pairs to have the coolest collection before the washing machine cycle starts. But be careful, if you have an odd number of socks with the same pattern, you won’t be able to pair them up and won’t score any points for that pattern. How does it work? Draw two cards. Add one to your collection and apply its effect if it has one (give a surprise sock, steal a sock, etc.). Give the other card to the player on your left or right, following the direction of the arrow. The game ends as soon as the Washing Machine card is drawn. Count your points, but beware: only even patterns count! —description from the publisher
Oh My Socks! supports 2–5 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Oh My Socks! is 15–20 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Oh My Socks! for ages 6 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Oh My Socks! has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
