About the game

Outburst Remix! is a fast-paced, team-based party game of shouted answers and racing timers—now with a new twist. Building on the classic Outburst! formula, this edition updates the categories and adds a clever strategic element: you don't see the topic before choosing to play or pass. Instead, each card displays a vague headline—like "Dirty Dish?"—hinting at the actual topic (Publications about Celebrities, in this case). Do you take a gamble or hand it to your opponents? Once a team accepts a topic, they have a limited amount of time to shout out as many of the ten listed answers as they can while the timer ticks. Classic categories might include things like Board Games That Use Dice or Songs with Names in the Title. The more answers you hit, the more points you earn. Outburst Remix! retains the wild group energy of the original, but with an added layer of deduction and bluffing thanks to the hidden-topic mechanic. With hundreds of updated and often surprising categories, this version is ideal for players who love energetic party games that blend quick thinking, word association, and chaotic fun. Gameplay is similar to Family Feud—minus the surveys, and with a lot more shouting.
