Shadowfist: Flashpoint is an expansion for Shadowfist released in 1996 for 2–7 players, 60 minutes per game, and ages 10 and up. It was designed by Rob Heinsoo and Jose Garcia (I) and its main mechanics are Hand Management.
This was the last expansion published by Daedalus. Lots of cards for the Dragons and Architects of the Flesh, as well as the Jammers, finally making them a viable faction to use. From the booster package: "The Architects of the Flesh are raising a sinister Arcanotower in the South American jungle - and it's up to the kung fu-kicking, gun-toting Dragons to save the day! More than 140 new cards, plus bonus info cards with background notes, Q&A, and extra goodies! The war is on - and the jungle explodes with action!"
Shadowfist: Flashpoint supports 2–7 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Shadowfist: Flashpoint is 60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Shadowfist: Flashpoint for ages 10 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
