The Best Booth is a board game released in 2016 for 2–5 players, 30 minutes per game, and ages 10 and up. It was designed by Masao Suganuma and its main mechanics are Dice Rolling and Open Drafting.
This game is a reimplementation of the game Machi Koro. In this game each players takes the role of a Kiosk owners in Greece competing against each other to become the best in the neighborhood. Ο Πιο Καλός Περιπτεράς is a fast-paced game for 2-5 players. Each player wants to develop their kiosk on their own terms in order to acquire all the improvements that will grant them an advantage against their opponents. On your turn, you roll one or two dice. If the sum of the dice rolled matches the number of a product that a player owns, you get the effect of that product; in some cases opponents will also benefit from your die (just as you can benefit from theirs). Then, with money in hand a player can acquire improvements or additional products for their Kiosk. The first player to acquire all improvements wins!
The Best Booth supports 2–5 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for The Best Booth is 30 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists The Best Booth for ages 10 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone.
