En anglais
On planet U, there live some strange beings, called komupples, who love some very curious fruits called upples. These fruits have a shape similar to a square apple, of various colors, which grow from the earth, and in many cases have very peculiar effects on these beings. Have fun changing shape, jumping, eating dozens of delicious upples and being the most gluttonous. Millions of possible configurations await you, where thanks to your intelligence and a pinch of luck, you will test whether you are the biggest upple eater. Upples is an original strategy game, for 1 to 4 players. In which you will have to eat as many super upples as you can, while planning strategies, clever movements and fun combinations of jumps. At the same time, you compete with your friends and opponents for the most delicious upples. The objective of the game is to eat as many super upples as you can while using the best strategy of jumps and card combinations, to be the player with the most super upple points. Starting with the youngest person at the table and going counter-clockwise (only the first time, in subsequent games the first person must rotate). Each player has one turn, which can be extended as many times as they are able to eat or use super upples or special upples that allow an extra jump. The super upples obtained are kept by each player, and the rest of the tokens are returned to the top of the box, face up. And only if the box runs out of tokens, they will be available again, shuffling them and placing them face down beforehand. In each valid jump, the player will “eat” the tokens on which they fall and remove them from the board (except for tunnels, or other players' character tokens). At the end of each turn, each player is responsible for ensuring that there are no gaps left on the playing field behind them before the next player's turn begins. In other words, if the pieces are eaten or removed, they must be replaced by randomly drawing new pieces from the box at the end of each turn. If a player is unable to make any moves in their current state, their turn ends and they are transformed into the opposite state. That is, if their state is shy (white komupple), they will become angry (red komupple with red hair), and if their current state is angry (red komupple), they will become shy (white komupple with white hair). If they are unable to make any moves in the next turn, even in this new character state, they will be swapped with the opposite card on the playing field (for example, if they were in a corner, they will be swapped with the card in the opposite corner, losing their turn again). In GLUTTON MODE, the game ends when the cards in the box are finished and the last card is placed on the playing field. The person or team that has managed to eat the most super upples, taking into account their value, wins the game, adding up the total of their points. There are 4 crazy game modes, it is designed for up to 4 players or teams, from 8 years old and up: In training mode, you will have the opportunity to practice the best combination jumping strategies. Designed for a single player. In glutton mode, with 2 to 4 players or teams, you will have to show who is the biggest upple eater on planet U. In naughty mode, in addition to eating as many upples as you can, you can take some of the collected upples from other players by jumping over them. In survival mode, you must collect as many upples as possible as quickly as possible, before a golden super upple is eaten, and the player with the fewest super upples on the table is eliminated. —description from the publisher
