Arcadia Quest: Zahra is an expansion for Arcadia Quest released in 2014 for 2–4 players, 60 minutes per game, and ages 13 and up. It was designed by Eric M. Lang, Guilherme Goulart, Thiago Aranha, and Fred Perret and its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers, Dice Rolling, and Grid Movement.
A native of the western savannahs, Zahra's astonishing speed was hailed by her people as nothing short of a gift from the gods. She could run down game, outrun predators, and leap tall structures with a bound, a flip, and a whirling somersault. In fact, it was said she could outrun the sun itself! Which is where all the trouble began. The very day she decided to try, Lord Fang made his move. Now, eager to test her speed against the only worthy adversary left to her, she must aid Arcadia, defeat Lord Fang, and then get back to the savannah, where the real race will begin. Originally an exclusive figure available only through the Kickstarter campaign. Available in stores as of May, 2015.
Arcadia Quest: Zahra supports 2–4 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Arcadia Quest: Zahra is 60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Arcadia Quest: Zahra for ages 13 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone.
