Festi'vibes is a board game released in 2024 for 2–4 players, 15–25 minutes per game, and ages 8 and up. It was designed by Pascal Bernard and its main mechanics are Hand Management and Multi-Use Cards.
In Festivibes, players don the role of festivalgoers, using their ticket cards to choose three festivals to attend from six possible options. The six festival cards are laid out across the table, and players take turns playing their event cards to build out each festival column. Every event card features a music note with a positive or negative value, giving players points or taking them away. The winner of the game is the player who has the highest score when all six festival columns are complete. How to play? Each player receives 3 Ticket cards and 3 Event cards. Players have several choices: Place an Event card in a Festival column then draw a Event card Place a Ticket card at one of the festivals Beware that event cards have effects that turn festivals and tickets upside down! The game ends once all the festival columns have been filled. The player with the most points wins the game! The points are counted using the Ticket cards that you place down throughout the game. —description from the publisher
Festi'vibes supports 2–4 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Festi'vibes is 15–25 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Festi'vibes for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Festi'vibes has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
