Feuding Foodies is a board game released in 2021 for 4–8 players, 30–75 minutes per game, and ages 8 and up. Its main mechanics are Hand Management, Take That, and Race.
Partner up with your favorite buddy and face off against other teams in this wacky card game where players race to collect ingredients and cook recipes. The first team to build enough recipes to gain 12 points wins! Feuding Foodies caters to 4, 6 or 8 players. Each turn, draw an ingredient card face up. Pay attention to what your co-chef and competitors add to their hand. You CAN'T tell anyone what ingredients you have unless a power allows it. Then, play an ingredient's power from your hand. POACH your neighbor's reserves with an egg, PEEL AWAY their defenses with banana, BATTER UP with flour to draw more cards, and more - the choice is up to you! Once you and your co-chef have enough ingredients, build recipes to gain points. But pay attention at all times! Special cards can be played at ANY time and are very powerful. Use ODOR BLOCK to thwart attacks, JAM a recipe so it can't be cooked, or incite chaos with the DEVILED EGG. Feuding Foodies is sure to be a game that has players coming back for a second serving.
Feuding Foodies supports 4–8 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Feuding Foodies is 30–75 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Feuding Foodies for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Feuding Foodies has a complexity rating of 2.3 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a medium-light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
