Build up your own Flea Market area, swindle other Marketeers, and deal in Americana Treasure... What could be more fun? The scene is set before the opening of the big weekend Flea Market at the old drive-in theater. Marketeers vie for the Tables that will make the most profit for the day, as they wheel, deal, and steal to be the richest in town! Players can buy and sell flea market goods according to a price chart that is given to each player. You will want to accumulate or buy items with the most value to place them in your flea market and sell those that make little or no money. What is worth little to you may be worth a lot to another and vice versa. Players also draw and play cards on their turn that can have an impact on a single player or all the players at the table. Some cards offer a benefit by allowing you to swap or trade items with another player. The player with the most money and most valuable items in their flea market (according to their price chart) is the winner.
Flea Marketeers supports 2–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Flea Marketeers is 60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Flea Marketeers for ages 10 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Flea Marketeers has a complexity rating of 1.4 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
