Four Corners is a board game released in 2023 for 1–6 players, 20–40 minutes per game, and ages 8 and up. It was designed by Ray Wehrs and its main mechanics are Hand Management, Tile Placement, and Modular Board.
Four Corners is a living puzzle! In this quick, fun, and captivating game, everyone has a different solution, but only the player who best manipulates the board and completes their puzzle will win! Four Corners comes in 2 themed editions: Kaleidoscope and Galaxy. Players each start a game of Four Corners game with secret goals. Every turn, you’ll add, twist, rotate, and flip tiles to reach your goal. This is achieved on the unique, patented Four Corners game board, which allows tiles to rotate and move without affecting neighboring tiles. You score a goal either by creating sequences of four identical images, or by completing a full image from the corners of four tiles. Watch out, because other players will also be shifting and changing the board to shape it the way they need. The first player to achieve three of their secret goals wins!
Four Corners supports 1–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Four Corners is 20–40 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Four Corners for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Four Corners has a complexity rating of 1.3 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
