About the game

Make your terrarium really sparkle by introducing a centerpiece plant. Be warned: these unusual plants bring equally unusual critters. Take your terrarium to the next level by including a centerpiece plant, a new hungry critter, or both! Centerpieces sit above your terrarium and must be completed by forming a unique pattern using your other plants, while the new critters have powerful features that limit which plants can be moved or grown. Centerpieces 6-card expansion introduces 3 new Centerpiece plants as well as 3 new Critter cards. You may use either a Centerpiece or a new Critter separately, or you can add one of each. To include one of the new Centerpiece plants, simply add it above the center position of the top row. You must grow the Centerpiece before the game ends by arranging plants in the terrarium in a specific pattern. Once the pattern is formed, the Centerpiece is grown by flipping it over and resolving its effect, after which it is considered completed. When using a new Critter card, it replaces any other Critter card and acts using the same core rules for movement. Each of the new Critters has its own method of dealing damage, as well as a constant effect that restricts your actions regarding certain plants.

Glass Garden: Centerpieces supports 1 player according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
