Hanami: Mini Expansion is an expansion for Hanami released in 2026 for 2–4 players.
A new quirky Mini Expansion to shake up core gameplay with 3 new meeples. Expansion tokens go out on the board as rewards players may receive from Activities: MANEKI-NEKO TOKEN: After all Celebration Tokens are placed, add the Maneki-neko Activity Token to one of the 2-tree Park spaces. The Maneki-Neko Token is awarded when all surrounding Land spaces are filled. Only Wild Tiles count toward winning this token. Before revealing your Celebration Tokens when Scoring, group the Maneki-Neko Token with one Celebration Token type. Count it as if it were a part of that set. DOSOJIN TOKEN: Instead of placing the 3 Celebration Tokens on the middle 3-tree Park space, return them to the box and place the Dosojin Token in their place. During the game, any time a player has the highest total strength (across all of their tiles) around this token, they immediately take this card. The Dosojin Token does not need to be surrounded in order to gain this card and its benefit. This card gives players the benefit of winning any token ties they are a part of. KANI TOKEN: Place the Kani Activity Token on any Water space showing 3 wavy lines and adjacent to an island active at your player count. The Kani Token is awarded when all surrounding Water spaces are filled. Land spaces do not have to be filled. Only Wild Tiles count toward winning this token. Before revealing your Celebration Tokens when Scoring, group the Kani Token with one Celebration Token type. Count it as if it were a part of that set.
