Myth: Spriggan Hero is an expansion for Myth released in 2014 for 2–5 players and 120 minutes per game. It was designed by Brian Shotton and Kenny Sims and its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers, Hand Management, and Dice Rolling.
A Hero Will Rise to Face the Agents of Darkness. The Spriggan model is unique to KS, but the deck used is not. The Spriggan uses spells. It has two types of spells: attacking spells that awaken nature to attack the darkness like Bee Swarm or Gaia's embrace, and spells that equip the Spriggan with temporary items: like Oaken Armor and Willow's Kiss. The equip spells provide the Spriggan with items it can equip and use with it's more standard attack cards. These items have limited hit points or do limited Blood. When they are spent, the item goes away. There will be only one miniature for the Spriggan. We consider it genderless.
Myth: Spriggan Hero supports 2–5 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Myth: Spriggan Hero is 120 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
