ONUS! Army box XV: Vercingetorix is an expansion for ONUS! Rome Vs Carthage released in 2025 for 1–4 players, 30–120 minutes per game, and ages 12 and up. It was designed by Luis Álvaro Hernández and its main mechanics are Dice Rolling, Simulation, and Events.
The army box of Vercingetorix offers the possibility of placing at the head of the best armies of Gaul – and of the Celtic world as a whole – those nobles and magistrates who fought most fiercely against the invasion of Iulius Caesar. Thus, Divico, leader of the Helvetii and first to confront the legions, Boduognatus, commander of the combined forces of the Belgians, who almost crushed the Romans in the battle of the Sabis River (57 BC) and, of course, the young, astute and brilliant arvernian noble Vercingetorix, able to unite and raise the whole of Gaul against Caesar in 52 BC, to the dismay of the Romans. With them come the cream of Gaul’s forces, from noble horsemen and Gallic aristocrats armed to the teeth, highly motivated druids or hardened Helvetian infantrymen, as well as bands of Gaesatai mercenaries and Gallic infantry… ready to send the Romans back to their pestilent and overcrowded city with a good kick in the ass! —description from the publisher La caja de ejército de Vercingétorix ofrece la posibilidad de poner al frente de las mejores huestes de la Galia –y del mundo celta en su conjunto– a aquellos nobles y magistrados que lucharon con mayor denuedo contra la invasión de Julio César. —description from the publisher (Spanish)
