Pompeius Army Box puts this great Roman general at the head of his army, as well as his sons, Pompeius Junion and Sextus Pompeius, along with the Republic’s outstanding hero Metellus Scipio, determined to defend the Roman State from Caesar’s ambitions… and in favor of their own! To accomplish these objectives, the experienced Pompeian commanders count on a plethora of Mario’s mules, antesignani “special forces”, and numerous conscripts to overwhelm the enemy, but also on allies harvested by the powerful gens Pompeii in Hispania, such as the Iberian scutati and the Hispanic Vernacular legion, ready to serve their patrons to the death. Scipio added to these hosts the Numidian infantry and elephants recruited in Africa -sometimes in very persuasive ways-, to crush anyone who dared to oppose them, no matter how powerful or how many victories they had won in battle. —description from the publisher La caja de ejército de Pompeyo pone a este gran general romano al frente de sus huestes, así como a sus hijos, Pompeyo el Joven y Sexto Pompeyo, junto al prócer de la República Metelo Escipión, decididos a defender al Estado romano de las ambiciones de César… —description from the publisher (Spanish)
