About the game
Politics in Flames (PoliF) allows you to economically, politically and militarily bring minor countries into your sphere of interest during the critical years of World War II. Can you woo Czechoslovakia, Spain, Turkey and Brazil amongst dozens of other countries to help you in your war of liberation? There are 200 Politics in Flames counters that include the political markers for Politics in Flames, heavy weapons units for Russia and China, warlord counters, friction markers, new carriers that include surface to air missiles, partisan headquarters, late war Soviet jets and night fighters. PoliF is a World in Flames expansion and part of the The Millenium World in Flames Annual. (ADG’s description)

The listed playing time for Politics in Flames is 240 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Politics in Flames for ages 12 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
