Power On! is a board game released in 2018 for 2–4 players, 30–50 minutes per game, and ages 6 and up. It was designed by An-Qi Zheng, Yen-Lin Chen, Tao-Tao Chen, and Yu-Xuan Su and its main mechanics are Hand Management, Stacking and Balancing, and Open Drafting.
With the development of cities, energy becomes more and more important. In Power On!, players should create power plants to supply energy for every city efficiently. There are four kind of power plants players can select: coal-fired, natural gas, nuclear and renewable-energy power plants. Each kind of power plants has its pros and cons. As the game end, player who obtain the most points would win the game. Notice that when player use coal-fired or natural gas power plants to produce energy, he/she have to pile the "CO2 emission" token and make "carbon tower", thus "carbon tower" will be getting higher and higher. If carbon tower is so high that it collapses, players would pay the price.

The listed playing time for Power On! is 30–50 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Power On! for ages 6 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
