The Game of Life: My Little Pony is a board game released in 2014 for 2–4 players, 60 minutes per game, and ages 9 and up. Its main mechanics are Roll / Spin and Move and Simulation.
Spring had sprung in Equestria. As the days grew longer and the weather grew hotter, Princess Celestia realized it was getting closer and closer to the Summer Sun Celebration. But there was so much to prepare in Equestria! So, she did what any good leader would do: she delegated! And now you and your friends can play as Ponies as you help prepare Equestria for the party in My Little Pony Game of Life. My Little Pony Game of Life sets players on a course preparing Equestria, but also learning the importance of friendship. You'll gain friends and earn Friendship Points, which will help you overcome obstacles, find supplies for the celebration, and get back to Ponyville in enough time to party down. Plus, you get four collectible Pony pieces, different from (but in the same scale as) the pieces in My Little Pony Monopoly (so all the Ponies can play together). My Little Pony Game of Life proves that the most important things in life are the friends you make along your journey through it. Awwww.
The Game of Life: My Little Pony supports 2–4 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for The Game of Life: My Little Pony is 60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists The Game of Life: My Little Pony for ages 9 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
The Game of Life: My Little Pony has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
