Place yourself in the 1930s, at the wheel of your halftrack, where you will experience the most incredible human adventure. It is more than a race. It is THE race. The Great Race will take you across continents, to face countless dangers and difficulties. You may have to take reckless risks to finally cross the finish line to the cheers of the crowd. Your crew consists of mechanics, scouts and an escort that you will have to mobilize to accomplish the impossible. Welcome to The Great Race adventure. After having explored Africa and South America in the first campaign (TGR1), this new campaign will take you to the Wild West and the Far East, with a map of the USA and a map of Asia (TGR2). The Wild West and Far East is both fully independent and fully compatible with the corebox from the first campaign!
The Great Race 2 supports 1–8 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for The Great Race 2 is 60 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists The Great Race 2 for ages 14 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
The Great Race 2 has a complexity rating of 2.5 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a medium-light game.
