About the game

An abstract strategy game where the object is to reach the other side of the board (or take all your opponents pieces). The game takes place on a 6x9 grid and each player has 12 pieces. Each piece is quartered and each quarter numbered from 1 to 4. This indicates the number of spaces that piece must move in that direction. Opponents pieces are taken by moving over them (jumping) or by landing on them.

Questions and answers

Zensū supports 2 players according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
