Zombicide Survivor: Dave is an expansion for Zombicide released in 2012 ages 13 and up. Its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers, Hand Management, and Dice Rolling.
As far as he remembers, Dave always found reality to be terribly boring. So he locked himself up in an imaginary world and learned piles of useless stuff... useless until now. Dave is a fount of knowledge. His chemistry mastery makes him look like a superhero amongst other survivors. At least until he opens this mouth, then everyone remembers he’s a real geek. Dave is a promotional Survivor that was available to those that pledged at a certain level on the Kickstarter campaign. He may be available in limited quantities at upcoming conventions. A zombie version (Zombivor) will be available to backers in 2013.
The catalogue lists Zombicide Survivor: Dave for ages 13 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Zombicide Survivor: Dave has a complexity rating of 2.3 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a medium-light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
Zombicide Survivor: Dave belongs to these categories: Zombies, Miniatures, and Expansion for Base-game. Its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers, Hand Management, and Dice Rolling. Categories describe the theme and setting of a game, while mechanics describe what players actually do on their turns. Each mechanic links to a catalogue hub with similar games, which helps when you want something comparable.
The catalogue lists Zombicide Survivor: Dave as an expansion for Zombicide.
