Boss Monster: Creator Pack is an expansion for Boss Monster 2: The Next Level released in 2013 for 2–4 players, 20 minutes per game, and ages 13 and up. It was designed by Johnny O'Neal and its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers and Auction / Bidding.
Boss Monster: Creator Pack is a set of four Kickstarter-exclusive cards for the Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game game. These are four very special cards, including: The Brothers Wise Boss Card - Because we're not above a little narcissism, we created this lovable two-headed ogre mage with a knack for always finding the right card. We think Katrina really captured our good looks. Hellcow Boss Card - In our final stages of playtesting, we have been honored to have game designer and novelist Keith Baker playing the game and offering crucial advice. We are big fans of Keith's work on Gloom, the Eberron D&D campaign setting, and many other games, so it's been reassuring to see such a seasoned designer having a blast with our game. To celebrate, we figured we had to immortalize his bovine alter ego as a Boss! Pixel Lincoln Hero Card - In launching a pixel-themed card game on Kickstarter, we knew that some people would compare us to Pixel Lincoln. But though we may have begun as rivals, that all changed when Pixel Lincoln designer Jason Tagmire ended up with a review copy of Boss Monster. He saw right away that the games are very different, but both awesome. So at Jason's suggestion, we've joined forces to bring time-traveling Pixel Lincoln to the world of Boss Monster as a truly Epic Hero ...and King Croak will be popping up as a promo card for Pixel Lincoln! T.P.K. Spell Card - If you've Mastered a few Dungeons, you might be familiar with the concept of a Total Party Kill.

The listed playing time for Boss Monster: Creator Pack is 20 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Boss Monster: Creator Pack for ages 13 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Boss Monster: Creator Pack has a complexity rating of 2.2 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a medium-light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
Boss Monster: Creator Pack belongs to these categories: Card Game, Fantasy, and Video Game Theme. Its main mechanics are Variable Player Powers and Auction / Bidding. Categories describe the theme and setting of a game, while mechanics describe what players actually do on their turns.
