Carrotia: Carroting is an expansion for Carrotia released in 2017 for 1–6 players, 30 minutes per game, and ages 8 and up. Its main mechanics are Tile Placement, Modular Board, and Cooperative Game.
Carroting is the first expansion of Carrotia and comes along with the base game. In Carroting the Master Rabbit is trying to avoid the river's currents and find the exit on time but at the same time he must face the fishes. River's Currents: When the Master Rabbit is moving along with the river's currents nothing happens, the game continues as you know. However, if the Master Rabbit is moving against the river's currents, then for each move you make, you count 2 moves on the Rabbit-Meter. New Rabbit Characters: In "Carroting" expansion you will discover three new characters. The Steam Rabbit, the Wizard and Ms. Lovely. Each of these characters has a new ability. Example: Ms. Lovely ignores the river's currents. Updated Quest Cards: The updated Quest cards indicate where you will place the fish tokens as well as the fishing spots. The fishing spots are hidden and you don't know what they hide unless you move the Master Rabbit there and you claim such a token.
Carrotia: Carroting supports 1–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Carrotia: Carroting is 30 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Carrotia: Carroting for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Carrotia: Carroting belongs to these categories: Children's Game and Expansion for Base-game. Its main mechanics are Tile Placement, Modular Board, and Cooperative Game. Categories describe the theme and setting of a game, while mechanics describe what players actually do on their turns. Each mechanic links to a catalogue hub with similar games, which helps when you want something comparable.
The catalogue lists Carrotia: Carroting as an expansion for Carrotia. Expansions add new content, rules or scenarios to the base game and usually cannot be played on their own, so you need Carrotia to use it. Check that your edition of Carrotia is compatible, as some expansions were revised between editions.
