About the game

Focusing on Operation Torch at the end of 1942. The first major Allied operation was well under way. The landings in Morocco and Algeria had been difficult but successful. Now the Allies want to hurry across Tunisia to sieze the vital ports at Bizerte and Tunis. Having secured French cooperation, the Eastern Task Force penetrated Tunisia in three places. The 36th Brigade Group along the Mediterranean coastal road in the north, the 11th Brigade Group further south towards Medjez el Bab and Blade Force in the middle. American forces were riding high after their successful landings and engagements with the French leading to what some thought was a careless attitude toward the coming showdown with the Germans. Lt. Col. John Walters said with great concern, “We did very well against the scrub team. Next week we hit German troops. Do not slack off in anything. When we make a showing against them you may congratulate yourselves.” This battalion level scenario pack chronicles the battles of Walters concern and contains 13 exciting miniatures war game scenarios written in campaign form and playable by 2-4 players. The scenarios include data sheets for vehicles and uses Fist Full of TOWs 3 rules. Scenarios can be easily converted to your favorite game system. The thirteen scenarios can be played as a campaign. A campaign score sheet is included, enabling players to track the campaign progress and final score. These scenarios put you in the Gasoline Cowboy seat, making you and your gaming partner(s) the tank drivers as you play through Operation Torch Part 3 - Run for Tunis.
