Spire's End: Hildegard is a board game released in 2022 for 1–2 players, 30–180 minutes per game, and ages 12 and up. It was designed by Greg Favro and its main mechanics are Push Your Luck, Dice Rolling, and Die Icon Resolution.
Hildegard is a stand-alone card game adventure set in the world of Spire’s End. Over the years, I've grown fond of Hildegard -- a main character from the first game. This is her story. After the dark descent into the Spire, I felt like a change of pace was in order. With Hildegard, I can do that. I've left behind the cold and the dark for something warm and vibrant. The game has almost no set-up, intuitive rules, and minimal components. No DM, bookkeeping, or character sheets. What you will have is a stack of over 400 beautifully designed and illustrated cards with some custom dice! Like the previous game in the Spire's End series, the story unfolds one card at a time. You will be presented with numerous-narrative driven choices, enemies, and items that move the story along. —description from the designer

Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Spire's End: Hildegard for ages 12 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Spire's End: Hildegard has a complexity rating of 1.7 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game.
