Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Into the Dark is a board game released in 2022 for 2 players and ages 12 and up. Its main mechanics are Dice Rolling, Scenario / Mission / Campaign Game, and Multiple Maps.
After thousands of years in the warp, the space hulk Gallowdark has emerged into realspace. This colossal, moon-sized derelict holds enormous wealth for those courageous enough to explore it – and terrifying dangers for those foolhardy enough to step inside. A mercenary Farstalker Kinband of the alien Kroot is first to seek the pick of the plunder, only to be cornered as elite Imperial Navy Breachers storm the hulk. Little do either team realise that their rivals are far from the only danger waiting within… The game of sci-fi skirmish battles enters a new season as operatives clash amongst the claustrophobic corridors of a massive drifting spacecraft. This boxed set is packed with two complete kill teams – Imperial Navy Breachers armed for boarding, and a Farstalker Kinband of brutal Kroot – alongside a new gameboard and terrain pieces representing the interior of the Gallowdark, plus all the rules and accessories you need to start playing straight away. Set in the same universe and using the same miniatures ranges as Warhammer 40,000 but with a different rules set, Kill Team – Into the Dark allows you to play a game of fast-paced tactical skirmish combat in less time and with a fraction of the models you’d need to play a full game of Warhammer 40,000.
Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Into the Dark supports 2 players according to the catalogue. This is the publisher’s listed player count, so the game is designed for exactly that number of participants. Variants for other group sizes, if any, are described in the rulebook of your edition, so check it before setting up a different configuration.
The catalogue lists Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Into the Dark for ages 12 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team – Into the Dark belongs to these categories: Miniatures and Science Fiction. Its main mechanics are Dice Rolling, Scenario / Mission / Campaign Game, and Multiple Maps.
