From the publisher's web site: "How well do you know all the Wonders of the World? With this game you get to travel around the world and see many wonderful and breathtaking human accomplishments and natural monuments. The game contains sights that are known by everybody and also more unfamiliar wonders in the furthest corners of the world. You will be asked interesting questions about different sights and by knowing or guessing correctly you will receive a piece in your 6-piece world map puzzle. Adding more spice to the game are the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World – you will learn plenty of new facts about them during each game. The winner is the player who is the first one to finish his/her puzzle." Note: Reimplemented by the 2019 game of the same name, Wonders of the World.
Wonders of the World supports 2–6 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Wonders of the World is 30 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Wonders of the World for ages 12 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
