Gravity Three is a board game released in 2024 for 2–3 players, 15 minutes per game, and ages 8 and up. It was designed by Yoshiaki Tomioka and Masayuki Ikegami.
Gravity Three is a fun unique set of games based on the law of gravity. Memory×Gravity - Choose 3 weights to get the heaviest combination. Players take turns testing and lifting the unknown weights and taking 1 of them. With 3 weights you form a digit with 3 numbers. The best 3-digit combination wins! Comparison×Gravity - Outwit your opponents in a 5 round battle to see who can tip the seesaw scale! Chose a location to place one of your 5 weights. But play strategically, as the closer you are to the center of the scale the heavier the weight you will need to tip the balance in your favor. Doubt×Gravity - Outbluff your opponents to get rid of all your weights. Roll the dice to determine the target number. Players can play to add their 'target number' weights in the central tower or pass. Will you be brave enough to call out each other's bluffs? Three games for up to three players using weights with different masses.
Gravity Three supports 2–3 players according to the catalogue. This range comes from the publisher’s listed player count, so the game can be set up for any group size within it. Some setups, rules and scoring details may still vary by player count, so check your edition’s rulebook for the exact configuration.
The listed playing time for Gravity Three is 15 minutes. This is the publisher’s estimate for a full game. The actual duration depends on the group, the player count and familiarity with the rules: first sessions usually run longer, while experienced groups often finish faster. Setup and teaching time are not included in this estimate.
The catalogue lists Gravity Three for ages 8 and up. This is the publisher’s recommendation and reflects reading demands, rule complexity and small components rather than theme alone. Younger players can often join with help from an adult, so check the age guidance on your edition and consider your group’s experience with board games.
Gravity Three has a complexity rating of 1.0 out of 5 from BoardGameGeek players, which makes it a light game. The rating reflects how much rules knowledge, planning and decision-making a typical game demands. Expect a longer first teach for heavier games, and use a preparation guide before game night.
